# Initiation

Zeeverse: Visions
{% endembed %}

In a distant age, when the world still danced to the rhythm of ancient spirits, a delicate equilibrium reigned between the realms of the tangible and the ethereal. Day and night, life and death - all were bound together in a harmonious tapestry woven by the hands of cosmic forces.

During the **Age of Serenity**, the Spirit Realm flowed seamlessly alongside the material world, like a gentle river merging with the vast ocean. Humans walked a sacred path, their steps guided by whispers from the other side. They could feel the presence of Gods in every rustling leaf, every glistening stream, and every star that adorned the night sky.

But, as with all things, change was inevitable. A shadow fell upon this harmonious era, threatening to shatter the delicate equilibrium held by the universe. Corrupted Gods - forces unseen and powerful began to tip the scales. They initiated the division of the Spiritual and Material worlds, wreaking havoc upon the natural order. And so, the **Age of Rupture** began.

As the cycles unfolded, the greedy depleted their land's resources - exhausting rivers of their fish and forests of their timber, without any regard of moderation. And in a last-ditch effort to extend their existence, the Corrupted Gods ruptured the fabric of the Spirit Realm to usher in the **Age of Corruption**.

You begin as a young Shaman - summoned to the Spirit Realm in a desperate call for help. For centuries, Shamans have faithfully served as intermediaries between humanity and the Gods. Now, it falls upon you to restore the delicate balance between the two Realms of existence, ensuring the unbroken continuity of the eternal cycle.

Are you up for the task?

# Your Journey

<div align="center"><figure><img src="/files/4Aqtyc15c1vLd7ScqSRb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

You open your eyes and slowly stumble into the new reality. No recollection of how you got here or where you are - but you feel like you belong. Is this *the* place? The sacred world whose *whispers* guided you these years. Right in front of your eyes...

Bright, vibrant colors. Mountains whose peaks evaporate among the clouds and waterfalls that reach beyond the sun. You peek across the ledge and.... it's flying? Well, no wonder the Elders referred to it as the *Sky World*. But you just can't believe it's been here all along.

But, it's the *Age of Corruption*. The ancient truth of balance has been long forgotten, with only mere fragments of it remaining. And it is up to you to rediscover it.

The journey will not be an easy one. The forces of Corruption will resist - they have taken over much of the Spirit Realm already. As you confront the looming threat, prepare to face their influence within your soul and to defend against their relentless assaults within their Dungeon sanctuaries.

Keep in mind, such battle is not one you can fight alone. You shall require allies, companions in this perilous journey. Embrace the Guardian Spirits known as [Zee](/gameplay/zee); nurture their strength, for their power reflects your own.

As you journey through the Realms, you'll encounter Zee in various forms, each possessing unique abilities and personalities. Some may be fierce and protective, while others may be gentle and wise. It is in your interactions with them that you will form deep spiritual bonds that even the strongest adversaries shall not break, unless... you choose to break them yourself.

The Zee manifest in three primal elements: Water, Fire, and Grass, each with its own unique strengths and traits. However, ancient legends whisper of Zee of untold diversity, nestled within dormant eggs, awaiting the emergence of brave souls willing to uncover their mysteries and harness their potential.

# Gods

Clear your mind, Shaman, and listen closely, for *whispers* shall guide your every move.

In the *Age of Serenity*, those *whispers* were all that could be heard. The voices of the Gods of Chaos and Order harmonized in a delicate balance, a symphony of wisdom that enveloped the world.

In those times, it was understood that to walk the true path was to heed both voices - to dance upon the razor's edge of balance. To forsake one completely, for the other would eventually lead to one's own downfall.

You hear them now? Good.

The Gods of Chaos - they whisper of spontaneity, impulse, and hunger.

The Gods of Order.... they speak of structure, stability and perseverance.

It is a delicate dance, a cosmic conversation that echoes in your soul. But be warned, for in the pursuit of balance, one must tread with utmost care, as indulgence in either may lead to a path of Corruption you must beware.

To heed only the Gods of Order is to be consumed by rigidity, stifling growth and creativity. Conversely, surrendering solely to the Gods of Chaos will lead to a destructive way that will consume you in your entirety. That includes everything and everyone around you.&#x20;

However, the exact point of equilibrium, that is universally unknown, it lies within the journey you must undertake, discovering it all on your own. In the Spirit Realm, the Gods are in constant discord among themselves, so expect them to both aid and obstruct your path.

Yet, never presume that ones are entirely benevolent or otherwise, as they are nothing but two facets of the same reality.

# Soul Keepers

At the heart of the connection between both realms since the *Age of Divergence* have been **Soul Keepers**, the stewards of balance and beings that embody all the expressions of the primordial forces: Order and Chaos in one.

Make no mistake; Soul Keepers have roamed the world before time set itself into motion. Their forms were a mesmerizing fusion of serene elegance and wild unpredictability, and they traversed galaxies, maintaining the sacred balance of the dual nature of the universe.

However, a shroud of mystery clouds the fate of these mystical beings.

*Whispers* in the wind speak of a time when the Corrupt Gods, in their insatiable consumption, wrought a cataclysmic event that silenced the Soul Keepers from existence, leaving behind only fragments of their once majestic presence.

Except for one. A lone Soul Keeper whose essence was crystallized into an unbreakable gem, and yet, with the help of your fellow Shamans, he is now free.

In the *Age of Corruption***,** to truly make a difference, you must acquire in your possession a [Soul Shard](/economy/nft-assets/soul-shards-erc-721s) - a mere fragment of what once was, but... a glimmer of hope, nonetheless.

It shall grant you enlightenment, enough to truly embark on your journey - to walk the path the Gods have set out for you. Though, in this age, Soul Shards cannot be given to everyone; that would only create more Chaos. The Soul Keeper grants the path only to those who deem themselves worthy of balance.

# Three Nations

In the *Age of Serenity* there was only one tribe. The whole of Humanity listened to the voices of Gods in unison. But as the *Age of Divergence* unfolded, humans split into three tribes, each claiming to have recovered the full Truth as revealed by Gods.

A time of temporal conflict unfolded, alliances between the Nations were formed as easily as they were broken, but there was never true peace. Even in times of relative calm, skirmishes happened on the borderlands.

### Chayara

Perched atop the scorching Fire Mountains, the Chayara Nation were keepers of courage and innovation. Their grand guardian Spirit of the Hawk bestowed upon them an unparalleled master of fire and tools.

It was the Chayara who first harnessed the flames, illuminating not only their mountaintop abode, but the path of progress for the entirety of Humanity. Their tools were sharp, and their bold audacity won them many great victories.

Yet, their audacious creativity ultimately exposed them to a relentless barrage of hardships, chipping away at their resilience bit by bit.

### Sinoru

In the sprawling wetlands below, the Sinoru Nation flourished along rivers and lakes. Their guardian, the Whale Spirit, brought wisdom and tranquility, teaching them the art of fishing and peaceful existence.&#x20;

The Sinoru’s waters were home to mystical fish that bestowed knowledge, nourishing both the body and mind. In their world of satiated hunger, and communal contemplation they thought they had reached true balance, yet… they could rarely take their ways further than the confines of their territories.

The Sinoru had very little desire or capacity to adapt to the conditions of other lands, and so rather than adapting to the land, they tried to change the land itself.

### Takanuwa

Beyond the lakes, in the shadow of the dense forest, the Takanuwa Nation dwelled. Guided by the Snake Spirit, they had learned the secrets of the earth and embraced the cycles of change and rebirth. Through herbalism and farming, the Takanuwa nurtured the land, ensuring growth and transformation.

And yet... they kept their greatest secrets even among themselves. There was significant internal rivalry among the Takanuwa: Shamans would not pass down their revelations to the next generation, and warband leaders would make great efforts not to reveal the best paths to their fellow tribesmen, fearing they might fall into enemy hands, or lead someone else than themselves to glory.

# Basics

<figure><img src="/files/mcaAGULidc9c0XGUkHfb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Zeeverse aims to offer a casual gaming experience while also incentivizing dedicated players to seek the bigger picture. It's a place where turn-based strategy meets exploration, the thrill of collecting, and the player's drive to create.

The current implementation of [PVE](/gameplay/pve) and [PVP](/gameplay/pvp) gameplay focuses on turn-based strategy with smooth visuals and prioritizes a manageable level of depth for new players. Additionally, live events and quests deliver immersive storylines, with rewards in the form of relics, equipment, and other items that tie into the in-game economy.

In the long run, however, Zeeverse aims to build a massive player-led economy, requiring the cooperation of numerous Shamans to compete for Land, Resources, and Rewards. This economy is underpinned by Coins and $VEE, connecting gameplay with the broader player-driven market.

## Energy

Energy is the base unit of progress in Zeeverse. It directly reflects the time you have invested in training your Zee - accruing inherent value and acting as proof or progress. And when players trade their Zee on a marketplace like [Opensea](https://opensea.io/collection/zeeverse-zee), they effectively trade time.

All players have **10 energy units** at their disposal. Energy is used when you venture into [Dungeons](/gameplay/pve/classic-dungeons) and regenerates at a rate of **1 energy per hour**. Energy is not used up when you fight in PvP, participate in [Events](/gameplay/events), or skilling.

## Rewards & Progression

When you complete Dungeons or Quests you earn relics, equipment, or other items. These are converted into Coins, which are the in-game currency. Coins can be spent on upgrades and progression, or exchanged for $VEE up to the amount a player has deposited on that chain. $VEE is then used for specific sinks such as Zee evolutions, PvP wagering, powering up traits, or trading in the GEX marketplace, which operates on liquidity pools (e.g. Energy Potion/$VEE pairs).

Over time, as you advance, you also unlock more powerful upgrades, trait improvements, equipment drops, and rare relics. Future expansions will introduce additional categories of rewards and progression systems.

# PVE

PVE (Player Versus Environment) game modes in Zeeverse revolve around Dungeons. You venture into them accompanied by your trusty Zee pack to defeat corrupted enemy minions, progress through levels, and conquer Bosses who drop occasional Zee Eggs.

Currently, there are 3 PVE game modes in Zeeverse:

* [Classic Dungeons](/gameplay/pve/classic-dungeons)
* [The Forge](/gameplay/pve/the-forge-locked)
* [Stronghold of Umbra](/gameplay/pve/stronghold-of-umbra)

# Classic Dungeons

Dungeons are your main path for advancement in the game. Here you go against waves of enemy Zee sent down by the Corrupted Gods. As you advance through the waves, the enemies get stronger, and each dungeon culminates in a Boss battle that may award you with a Zee Egg.

Currently, Dungeons are played solo, but a co-op mode is also planned. You begin your first Dungeon with 3 [Zee](/gameplay/zee) acquired from a tutorial, and as you progress, higher-level Dungeons will become playable with a Pack of up to 5 [Zee](/gameplay/zee) (Stronghold of Umbra - after completion of the quest A Cut Made).

🪙 **Cost:** Energy

🏆 **Rewards:** XP, Relics, Zee Eggs

# The Forge \[LOCKED]

<figure><img src="/files/PtvEqm95qryfd3XGJw3Q" alt=""><figcaption><p>The Forge</p></figcaption></figure>

## Gameplay <a href="#a9a3" id="a9a3"></a>

The Forge, a mystic sanctuary, opens its doors to those guiding Zee teams of **Level 15** and beyond. Conceived with intricate challenges, it promises a renewed PVE experience, especially for those standing on the threshold of Zeeverse’s known horizons.

As the week unfolds, during the sacred days of **Friday through Sunday**, The Forge’s portal pulses with ancient energy, beckoning the brave. Here, agility and wit are your allies as you delve deeper, aiming to confront the fiery heart of the abyss: Vulcan.

This venture, though reminiscent of Zeeverse’s classic Dungeons, promises unique surprises. As you navigate through its corridors, you’ll encounter adversaries unlike any other. Why? Because The Forge is not merely a challenge; it’s the dawn of the long-awaited 2nd Evolution Zee. Initially your foes, but with time and understanding, these evolved beings might stand as your companions.

<figure><img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/1*YhD2C3mmgImiOvM1aHiSuw.png" alt="" height="323" width="700"><figcaption><p>Gameplay Screenshot</p></figcaption></figure>

## Weekly Modifiers <a href="#fd94" id="fd94"></a>

Every week, The Forge reshapes its trials, introducing players to a set of combat modifiers. These celestial rhythms alter the very essence of battle, influencing stats, Zee types, and abilities.

These modifiers flow as such:

* **Base Modifier**: applied at Level 1
* **Weakness**: applied at Level 5
* **Blessing**: applied from Level 11

And based on each week’s alignment, players are encouraged to harmonize their Zee composition and equipment to best fit the challenge at hand.

Week 1 (October 13–15) modifiers will apply as follows:

* Base: Your water Zee have 20% more DMG and DEF
* Negative: Enemy Zee DMG is increased by 30%
* Positive: Your critical hits do x3 damage

<figure><img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/1*e2LP_J-58Uxn2KqehhZOWA.jpeg" alt="" height="394" width="700"><figcaption><p>Modifier Dashboard</p></figcaption></figure>

## New Boss: Vulcan <a href="#id-6c02" id="id-6c02"></a>

At The Forge’s very heart burns Vulcan. Drawing inspiration from ancient Roman lore, he embodies the essence of fire and craftsmanship. Although formidable, he remains a sentinel, a mere reflection of a mightier force that forged him.

Brace yourself, for you’ll confront Vulcan on **Levels 10, 20, and 30**. Amidst his searing aura and defenses, you’ll seek to decipher his true powers. And as legends foretell, Vulcan is the first in Zeeverse to offer equipment as trophies to his conquerors.

Triumph over him, and amongst the treasures found in Loot Pods, a rare chance exists to acquire the Legendary Off-hand, Nina Wach’a — a battle horn, echoing tales from The Forge’s depths.

<figure><img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/1*koMvZ-XMN9ImSVTyGMi3-Q.png" alt="" height="394" width="700"><figcaption><p>Cinematic Gameplay Screenshot</p></figcaption></figure>

## Leaderboard <a href="#id-25f1" id="id-25f1"></a>

As each week’s challenge concludes, a Leaderboard rises, celebrating and rewarding those who ventured farthest into the abyss. And where 2 or more players happen to split their seat, the quickest shall be reigned as the champion.

The **Top 30** will receive blessings in the form of $VEE tokens and Loot Pods, adding to the trophies you can earn from the classic Dungeons and the Weekly Harvest events. Moreover, the weekly champions might soon don the crown of a unique cosmetic relic, a testament to their valor.

# Stronghold of Umbra

<figure><img src="/files/G27pgqgq9O48HBeDC4Si" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

After completing the quest *A Cut Made*,the concealment hiding the Stronghold of Umbra is lifted. Deep inside lies the outpost of the true Umbra Shamans, masters of shadow and blood rites long thought lost. Here they defend their hidden sanctuary, forcing challengers into escalating battles to prove their strength or be broken by it.

### Gameplay

<figure><img src="/files/BvTvu72pbtghBK0eZB3v" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Stronghold of Umbra introduces a new gameplay mechanic: 5v5 battles. Every 3 levels, players will face a Shaman enemy equipped with gear that grants bonuses to the enemy team of Zees. While early Shaman enemies wear common equipment, the final Shamans are fully outfitted with Legendary gear. After defeating enemy Shamans (Levels: 3;6;9;12;15;18;21;24;27;30) there’s a small chance to receive equipment crafting scrolls from the Simulacrum Umbra collection, new ores or spell tablets that permanently unlock access to new spells upon consuming them.

{% hint style="info" %}
Game speed can be increased up to 3x in Stronghold of Umbra.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Every Monday, Dungeons are reset and enemy Shamans gear is changed!
{% endhint %}

**Rewards:** XP, Relics, [Simulacrum Umbra](/economy/nft-assets/items-erc-1155/collection-simulacrum-umbra) collection items (potentially), Mithril, Adamantite, Oceanite ores, Tablet of Bloodthirst, Tablet of Ritual Site Teleport

# Hollow Trials

Unlocks after completing The Oath quest. Challenge Talunaj to begin.

<figure><img src="/files/HCgxFEarcEMSiGqOrprg" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Gameplay

Hollow Trials is a wave-based, infinite dungeon challenge. Begin with a team of **5 Zees** and survive as many waves as you can. Every wave brings tougher enemies and more risk - the reward scales accordingly.

* You get **1 run every 12 hours** (personal cooldown).
* A **chest** emerges from the water, ready to claim rewards after a finished run.

### Rewards

* Runs start with **2 reward slots**.
* For every **20 waves** completed in a single run, you gain **+1 additional reward slot** in that run.
* Claiming the chest registers your rewards and triggers the 12-hour cooldown timer.

# PVP

PVP (Player vs Player) game modes represent the competitive side of Zeeverse. Here you battle against other Shaman players for $VEE, honor or resolving any issues!

Currently, available PVP modes:

* [Heist](/gameplay/pvp/heist-under-construction) - plunder other Shaman's Vaults and steal a portion of their accrued $HRT. (UNDER RECONSTRUCTION)

At all times, you can also challenge any individual player to a duel without waging anything.

# Heist \[UNDER CONSTRUCTION]

Requires Soul Shard.

<figure><img src="/files/ocu4Wo9xGNeB2Yijy1gd" alt=""><figcaption><p>Melon Tusk visiting Vault #992835223</p></figcaption></figure>

Visit Melon Tusk's Grand Bank to secure your vault with Zees. Vaults accumulate $HRT hourly, attracting rival Shamans. Manage Heist Tokens and time your withdrawals to protect your wealth. $HRT, or Heist Reward Tokens, can be converted into Energy Potions - used to delve deeper into the Dungeons or exchanged for $VEE at the Trader.

<figure><img src="/files/0KGPnYP6tHvqmOr5tmM0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Vault Raids**

Acquire Heist Tokens through Dungeons, Stronghold of Umbra or from the Trader, then target other Shamans' vaults. You can reroute to more lucrative targets using $VEE. Suffer a raid? Gain a temporary Heist Security Shield for protection.

**Leaderboards and Rewards**

Ranking in the Heist League influences your $HRT earnings. Increase your rank through successful raids and defenses, boosting hourly gains. Your Heist performance also affects your Tribe's standing in Tribe leaderboards.

**Staking for Returns**

Enhance your $HRT yield by staking $VEE. Each day, there's 1,000,000 $HRT to be distributed as staking rewards, split amongst all stakers depending on the amount they have staked. Staked $VEE is safe from raids under Melon Tusk’s supervision.

**Plundering Process**

Raid spoils go to Shamans Vault and can be withdrawn together with accrued $HRT gains by using Heist Tokens.

# Quests

<figure><img src="/files/WvNJTshjKsVT1bePvGvE" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Quests are how shamans progress through Zeeverse’s world. They introduce new systems, unlock skills, and tie the lore together. Some are quick, others span multiple stages, but all are designed to encourage discovery.

We do not publish step-by-step tutorials. Instead, we encourage collaboration between players and the creation of community-driven guides.

#### Key Notes

* Quests connect narrative, exploration, and skills.
* They often unlock new gameplay features or access to areas.
* Rewards may include Relics, items or unique account unlocks.
* Player-made guides or our Discord's quest-chat is the best source for detailed solutions.

#### Pointers

* Read dialogue and item descriptions carefully.
* Progress in skills may be required to advance certain quests.
* Collaboration with other players can make complex quests easier.

# Past Events

## Curve: The 4th Dimension (FEB 2023)

A play2mint Quest organized in collaboration with [Curve Finance](https://curve.fi/).

During the event, players had to compete in a quest to help Wakan Tanka, the Grand Spirit of Zeeverse, construct a sacred temple. All participants followed the in-game story and were rewarded with a special evolving NFT.

<figure><img src="/files/VNOSjhPei8jlDzklw75x" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Skills

Lands will serve as an early access point to not only new biomes and resources that come with them, but also skills. The nine skills of Zeeverse will be:

* **Fishing** - Catch fish throughout Zeeverse&#x20;
* **Mining** - Acquire ore and gems from mining deposits
* **Farming** - Cultivate various crops and herbs and much more from farming plots
* **Cooking** - Cook delicious meals that restore the health of your Zees
* **Crafting** - Process various materials to create new equipment and accessories
* **Soulcrafting** - Purify Corrupted Souls, acquired from defeating Zees in Dungeons, to create biome-specific Souls
* **Herbalism** - Transform herbs into potions that boost your Shaman’s abilities
* **Shamanism** - Cast various spells and perform rituals with the use of Souls
* **Taming** - Progression profession that unlocks various equipment, increases your mastery over Zees and serves as a representation of time invested in game
* **Woodcutting** - Cut various trees across Zeeverse to acquire logs
* **Firemaking** - Create portable campfires to cook food on the go.

To foster a healthy player-owned economy, Zeeverse introduces gathering and artisanal skills, but to take it a step further, Shamanism and Taming are both player utility skills that aid and enhance gameplay.

**Each of the skills will have a max level of 99**, requiring considerable training to reach this level. This will create a new generation of Shamans who specialize only in their favorite skills, enabling them to gather and process resources more efficiently than their peers.

The economy in Zeeverse Beta is primarily based on resources and their products, with the **majority of these resources being acquired through Lands**, **making the Master Chiefs the backbone of the economy of Zeeverse.**

Higher Fishing levels unlock access to various rarity of fish from different waterbodies across the Zeme, if the Shaman has a suitable fishing rod. Additionally, every 5 Fishing levels above a fish's unlock level increases the speed of catching that fish by 1 second, with a maximum increase of 5 seconds per fish.

Every fishing spot has a capped amount of fish that can be caught before the fishing spot enters a cooldown. The rarer the fish, the longer the cooldown.&#x20;

# Cooking

I have all this fish... what should I do?

<figure><img src="/files/WW7ziR1t6dEY7cDRqmUS" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Cooking is an artisanal skill, which allows Shamans to cook various fish acquired through [Fishing](/gameplay/skills/fishing), further used in combat to replenish the health of Zees.

#### How to start?

After catching your first Gloops, head over to a bonfire to cook them. Initially, at Level 1, many fish will be burnt, however, with every Cooking level the success rate of cooking fish increases by couple of percent, up to 100%.

<figure><img src="/files/tZd10WLdTff00OVcDo8u" alt=""><figcaption><p>Sky Island's bonfire</p></figcaption></figure>

To use the cooked fish during combat they must be located in your backpack! Just drag the fish over the injured Zee to feed it!

{% hint style="info" %}
Cooked fish can also be exchanged for Energy Potions at the Trader.
{% endhint %}

# Taming (Phase 1)

Grow stronger, Shaman...

<figure><img src="/files/BQ7go2rQ8FPD5ouKQEnJ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Taming is a progression skill that represents Shaman's time spent in combat.&#x20;

Progression in Taming unlocks the ability to wield powerful equipment, evolve your Zees or complete quests. Additional features for Taming will arrive with Land gameplay.

{% hint style="warning" %}
During the introduction of Taming - Phase 1 - no restrictions are applied. We're providing grace period for existing players to level up the skill.
{% endhint %}

# Farming

Hmm, my fingers are getting greener, all of a sudden!

<figure><img src="/files/S3qgeT4OzhQmfJfoxNuT" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Farming is a gathering skill that lets players cultivate seeds into plants, which can then be used in Herbalism!

#### Getting started

After obtaining your first Sunflare seeds as a drop from Dungeons, you're almost ready! To grow your first crop, you'll need: a Garden Rake to remove weeds, a Bucket of Water to nurture your crop, and Garden Scissors to harvest it once it’s ready! You can craft these items in or purchase them on [Ronin](https://marketplace.roninchain.com/collections/zeeverse-items) or GEX.&#x20;

{% hint style="success" %}
You can pick up the basics of Farming during Root of the Problem quest!
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/QZNEhJ5AmswbQqpQpo0Z" alt=""><figcaption><p>Sky Island's farming patch</p></figcaption></figure>

#### Curing diseased plants

<figure><img src="/files/GKmXvxiKqkOzYbekVLzX" alt=""><figcaption><p>Diseased plant</p></figcaption></figure>

If your plant becomes diseased, you'll receive a chat notification. You then have two options: use a Cure Sickness potion (crafted with Sunflare and Stray Teeth) to save it, or cut it down with Garden Scissors and replant.

{% hint style="info" %}
Seeds, Cure Sickness potions, and Compost can be crafted by yourself or purchased from the GEX, which is accessible through the Trader.
{% endhint %}

#### Compost

By adding 10 seeds (or 5 plants) of any kind to the compost bin, you can fill it up and produce valuable compost. This can be applied to your crops to increase the chances of a double, triple, or even quadruple harvest! Farming XP is awarded per crop, so with multiple harvests, you'll earn even more XP!

{% hint style="info" %}
Compost can only be added after planting the seed, but before watering.&#x20;
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/6DBATnr3uo5FlmIHG920" alt=""><figcaption><p>Compost Bin</p></figcaption></figure>

Every 5 levels above a plant's unlock level (up to a maximum of 15 levels), the potency of compost increases, boosting the chance of multiple harvests. When the plant is first unlocked, if using a compost, there’s a 100% chance of receiving another crop, but the chances of receiving more crops increases with your Farming level.

{% hint style="info" %}
Being 15 levels above a plant's unlock level provides 5% chance for a quadruple harvest!
{% endhint %}

## Plants

{% hint style="success" %}
Seeds can be freely traded in the GEX, allowing you to easily stock up on more!
{% endhint %}

# Herbalism

I need something to wash down all the fish I keep eating!

<figure><img src="/files/EybujHVgaj15vfnn0rox" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Herbalism is an artisanal skill that uses crops obtained through Farming to craft a variety of powerful potions! Players are introduced to Herbalism during Root of the Problem quest.

#### Getting started

Whether by growing it yourself or picking it up from the GEX, you've got your hands on your first Sunflare. As you journey through dungeons, you've gathered various secondary ingredients. Now, all that’s left is to get a vial to mix it all together!&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
Secondary ingredients are ONLY dropped on boss levels!
{% endhint %}

You can find empty vials as drops from wild Lapsas or purchase them on [Ronin](https://marketplace.roninchain.com/collections/zeeverse-items) or GEX.

<div><figure><img src="/files/ruhOkVV5Y4xOYdQkNmNs" alt=""><figcaption><p>Filling a vial with water</p></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/27v7zxWZmWPyBbyfWp8T" alt=""><figcaption><p>Crafting an unfinished potion mix</p></figcaption></figure></div>

To begin crafting potions, you need to create a potion mix by combining a plant of your choice with a vial of water.

{% hint style="info" %}
You can fill empty vials with water by dragging them onto any water source across the Zeme.
{% endhint %}

# Woodcutting

Where did this Forest come from?

<figure><img src="/files/Atu7yJ7fcFIJzCvQ4ruK" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Woodcutting is a gathering skill in which Shamans cut marked trees over the Zeme to acquire logs!

#### Getting started

During Crooked, But Standing quest, players acquire their first axe, while better axes can be obtained through **GEX** or the [**Opensea**](https://opensea.io/collection/zeeverse-items?search\[query]=common%20axe) **/** [**Ronin**](https://marketplace.roninchain.com/collections/zeeverse-items) **marketplace**. Once equipped, head out in Zeme, locate marked trees, and start chopping!

**Chopping & Success**&#x20;

Most trees, except for regular Spirit Trees, yield a variable number of logs. After the chopping animation plays, your success in obtaining a log is determined. If successful, you receive a log; if not, the animation repeats until you collect a log or the tree is fully chopped down. **Higher skill levels increase your chances of success!**

## Logs

<table data-view="cards"><thead><tr><th align="center"></th><th align="center"></th><th></th><th></th><th></th><th></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td align="center"><img src="/files/jAxPaLyOJyV4S1oVxR3o" alt="" data-size="original"></td><td align="center"><strong>Spirit Logs</strong></td><td>Level: 1</td><td>XP: 15</td><td>Tree capacity: 1</td><td>Tree respawn time: 60s</td></tr><tr><td align="center"><img src="/files/zKcVUpPj2bexoBy0nt7I" alt="" data-size="original"></td><td align="center"><strong>Spirit Logs (Prime)</strong></td><td>Level: 15</td><td>XP: 40</td><td>Tree capacity: 1-3</td><td>Tree respawn time: 180s</td></tr><tr><td align="center"><img src="/files/nXsab5bwjBJZ8iQ0ObQO" alt="" data-size="original"></td><td align="center"><strong>Spirit Logs (Noble)</strong></td><td>Level: 30</td><td>XP: 70</td><td>Tree capacity: 2-6</td><td>Tree respawn time: 300s</td></tr><tr><td align="center"><img src="/files/C7TGZWhDHpRbCfknodqi" alt="" data-size="original"></td><td align="center"><strong>Spirit Logs (Elder)</strong></td><td>Level: 50</td><td>XP: 105</td><td>Tree capacity: 3-7</td><td>Tree respawn time: 360s</td></tr></tbody></table>

# Firemaking

Let it burn!

<figure><img src="/files/02zi0g6DfKDL2pMbDzom" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Firemaking is a utility skill that allows Shamans to turn their logs into portable campfires.

#### Getting started

Acquire a **Fire Starter** from the Crafting or the [**Opensea**](https://opensea.io/collection/zeeverse-items?search\[query]=fire%20starter) **/** [**Ronin**](https://marketplace.roninchain.com/collections/zeeverse-items) **marketplace**, along with some logs, and you're ready to go! Simply **drag the Fire Starter onto a log** to build your first campfire.

{% hint style="info" %}
If your fire doesn’t start successfully, simply **repeat the process**! The higher your **Firemaking level**, the greater your chances of success.
{% endhint %}

# Mining

Mining lets players extract valuable ores from ore rocks found throughout Zeme. These ores are essential for Crafting, making Mining a key resource-gathering profession.

<figure><img src="/files/5Ns7igILIbPoELJCDulZ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How to Level Up Mining

Players earn Mining XP by successfully mining ore rocks. Each ore requires a minimum Mining skill level to attempt:

* Copper & Tin at level 1
* Iron at level 10
* Coal at level 20

As you mine ores, your skill level increases, unlocking access to higher-tier ores and improving your mining success.

### How Mining Works

To mine, approach an ore rock in Zeme with a pickaxe in your inventory and click it to start the mining animation. After the animation:

* If successful, you receive one ore and Mining XP, and the ore rock’s available amount decreases by one.
* If unsuccessful, no ore is granted, but you can try again immediately.

{% hint style="info" %}
No specific pickaxe is required, but better pickaxes increase your chance to successfully mine.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Mining attempts stop if another player finishes mining the same ore first. Ores respawn after a cooldown period once depleted.
{% endhint %}

<table data-view="cards"><thead><tr><th align="center"></th><th align="center"></th><th></th><th></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td align="center"><img src="/files/jLoUU1XBbOHBxw1lJaIr" alt="" data-size="original"></td><td align="center"><strong>Tin Ore</strong></td><td>Level: 1</td><td>XP: 5</td></tr><tr><td align="center"><img src="/files/0xIIx181UqJQYtHzQnwr" alt="" data-size="original"></td><td align="center"><strong>Copper Ore</strong></td><td>Level: 1</td><td>XP: 5</td></tr><tr><td align="center"><img src="/files/UCR7Y6wq78jMAfkjIznw" alt="" data-size="original"></td><td align="center"><strong>Iron Ore</strong></td><td>Level: 20</td><td>XP: 8</td></tr><tr><td align="center"><img src="/files/J48sXYcmc0HWqqrnKpon" alt="" data-size="original"></td><td align="center"><strong>Coal Ore</strong></td><td>Level: 30</td><td>XP: 11</td></tr></tbody></table>

# Crafting

Crafting lets players create items such as armor, weapons, tools, and materials by using workstations found in Zeme.

<figure><img src="/files/znPDNcHFOLYr9zVg63qW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How to Level Up Crafting

Players earn Crafting experience by successfully crafting items. Higher skill levels unlock access to more advanced recipes and improve crafting options.

### How Crafting Works

* To craft, players must click on a workstation - Forge, Anvil (needs Hammer to operate) or Sawmill.
* The Crafting UI shows recipes available at that workstation. Selecting a recipe displays the required materials and skill level.
* If all materials and skill requirements are met, crafting can begin. Crafting consumes materials and awards experience.

#### Crafting Categories & Workstations

* **Forge:** Used to smelt ores into ingots, necessary for many recipes.
* **Anvil:** Used to craft weapons, armor, and tools.
* **Sawmill:** Processes wood logs into crafting materials.

#### Smelting

Smelting converts ores from Mining into usable ingots at the Furnace. Players select how many to smelt, and materials are consumed once the smelting animation finishes.

#### Materials

Materials include ores, wood logs, and processed components. Different wood types can be processed into rods, planks, and trunks at the Sawmill.

<figure><img src="/files/Erv5Cgc8JZPA1Wzdgw6c" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Craftable Items

* **Armor:** Craft wearable armor sets that provide combat stats.
* **Weapons:** Craft hand and off-hand weapons with damage stats.
* **Tools:** Craft gathering tools like pickaxes and hammers needed for other skills.

<figure><img src="/files/ZwJr4sM9ARCEHzvmFeQo" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Crafting Tools

A Hammer is required for crafting at the Anvil and must be in the player’s inventory or equipped. Players can acquire Hammer during Crooked, But Standing quest.

# Soulcrafting

Soulcrafting is the practice of binding Empty Souls at sacred Wells to create new types of Souls. It unlocks after completing the Soulchain quest.

<figure><img src="/files/K7fp2itL2j0SHG9UeVqg" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Getting Started

* Soulcrafting is unlocked during Soulchain quest.
* Collect Empty Souls from wild Zees

# Shamanism

Shamanism introduces powerful spells that can be cast during battle or outside of it for various advantages!

<figure><img src="/files/kCreJJMxjhiK6W4L6jHb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### What is Shamanism?

Shamanism introduces a magic system where players cast spells using Element Souls. Players unlock spells as they level up, each consuming different types and quantities of Element Souls from their backpack.

#### How to Level Up Shamanism

Players gain Shamanism experience by casting spells successfully. Higher skill levels unlock more powerful and diverse spells. Players learn the basics of Shamanism during Soulchain quest.

#### How Shamanism Works

* Access the Shamanism Spellbook via the UI icon near the backpack.
* The Spellbook shows available spells, their requirements, and soul costs.
* During battle, select a spell and choose a valid target.&#x20;
* Spells consume Element Souls and Action Souls from your inventory.

#### Spell Types

* **Battle Spells:** Used only in combat to damage enemies or aid allies.
* **Utility Spells:** Used outside combat for buffs, healing, teleportation, or world interactions.

#### Element Souls

Element Souls (Earth, Fire, Water) are consumable resources needed to cast spells. They are acquired through Soulcrafting or by dropping from dungeons and must be present in your backpack to be used.

#### Shamanism Spells & Soul Costs

* Spells unlock as you reach specific Shamanism levels.
* Each spell consumes a set number and types of Element Souls from your backpack.
* Examples of spells and their soul costs:
  * **Stone Lance (Lvl 1):** Soul of Earth x1, Soul of Ruin x1
  * **Magma Strike (Lvl 6):** Soul of Fire x1, Soul of Ruin x1
  * **Aqua Bolt (Lvl 10):** Soul of Water x1, Soul of Ruin x1
  * **Quake Wave (Lvl 13):** Soul of Earth x2, Soul of Ruin x1
  * **Inferno Burst (Lvl 17):** Soul of Fire x2, Soul of Ruin x1
  * **Tidal Surge (Lvl 21):** Soul of Water x2, Soul of Ruin x1
  * **Village Teleport (Lvl 25):** Soul of Earth x2, Soul of Water x2, Soul of Echo x1
  * **Lesser Transformation (Lvl 30):** Soul of Earth x2, Soul of Fire x2, Soul of Wither x1
  * **Bloodthirst (Lvl 31):** Soul of Wither x1, Soul of Fire x2, Soul of Water x2 (requires unlock through Scroll of Bloodthirst)
  * **Ritual Site Teleport (Lvl 35):** Soul of Echo x1, Soul of Earth x2, Soul of Fire x2 (requires unlock through Scroll of Ritual Site Teleport)

#### Spellcasting Mechanics

* Spell strength is influenced by your Shamanism level, spell power, and elemental strengths (Fire spells are stronger against Grass Zees).

#### Current Scope & Player Impact

Shamanism gives players a bunch of flexible tools for both fights and exploration. You’ve got elemental damage spells for combat and utility abilities for healing, buffs, or quick movement, so you can adjust your approach depending on what’s happening.

It ties in closely with Soulcrafting and dungeon runs, creating a satisfying loop of gathering and using Element Souls. The system is still growing, with more spells, mechanics, and gear support coming in future updates.

# Zee

<figure><img src="/files/idEMUx1dxhNnzSapUYfV" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Zee are spirits, encompassing both friendly and hostile entities. They serve as your in-game battle companions; however, they hold a more significant role than that. Your Zee accumulate value by means of experience gained by them, as that directly translates to the time invested into their progression by you.

As you begin the tutorial, you will earn your first Zee Eggs that can be hatched into Zee. Throughout the game, your goal is to train your Zee in battles to improve their stats, power-up their traits, and eventually bring them through Evolution.

As your Zee gain experience through combat, you can upgrade them directly using [$VEE tokens](/economy/utility-tokens/usdvee). You can earn $VEE tokens by completing Dungeons, winning them from other players in the PVP Arena, getting a lucky drop from [Loot Pods](/economy/nft-assets/loot-pods-erc-1155), or by purchasing them through an exchange like [MagicSwap](https://magicswap.lol/?input=MAGIC\&output=VEE).

Currently, new Zee can only be earned from Zee Eggs dropped by Dungeon bosses. If you prefer not to invest time in upgrading your Zee yourself, you can purchase higher-level Zee from other Shamans on the [Treasure](https://app.treasure.lol/collection/zeeverse-zee) or [OpenSea](https://opensea.io/collection/zeeverse-zee) marketplaces.

## Zee Anatomy

<figure><img src="/files/qCotHEjuoQjFHqIDudLN" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Currently, Zee anatomy encompasses:

* **6 Types** (Fire, Water, Grass, Radiant, Dark Matter, Astral)
* **3 Classes** (Tank, Healer, DPS) - defined by their special ability
* **5 Stats** (HP, DMG, DEF, SPD\*, CRIT)

  *\*SPD (Speed) defines the order in which a Zee gets to make its move during the battle.*
* **4 Trait Slots**
  * **5 Traits Options** in each Slot, where each Trait is visually distinguishable and buffs one of the 5 Stats (HP, DMG, DEF, SPD, CRIT)
  * **20 Trait Levels** that can be upgraded through Power-ups

Explore [Zeedex](/gameplay/zee/zeedex) to see the currently available Zee, their Stats, and Abilities.

<figure><img src="/files/xHoJ1gPayysgTAs4EJMe" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Power-ups

Power-ups are a way to improve the stats of your Zee traits. Power-ups are completed on individual traits, cost progressive amount of $VEE, and have a probability of success assigned to them - the higher is the level of the Power-up, the lower is its probability of success.

<figure><img src="/files/wuIYNvarLYza2swvw2e6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Evolution

<figure><img src="/files/3tmmZFYZUeKWh8O2hbhx" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Upon reaching level 50, Zee can evolve by **sacrificing two other level 50 Zees** from the same type. Cost of evolution - **150,000 $VEE (on-chain).** User must select the Zee to be evolved and Zees to be burned in the process. This action is irreversible. \
\
Upon evolution, The Chosen Zee ascends to its next form, reaching level 51 and unlocking a new ability. Additionally, evolution increases Zees stats by 20% (except for SPD & CRIT). Evolved Zees currently can level up to level 100.&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
Lapsa is the only exception, only requiring Spirit Blossom Gem to be sacrificed for evolution.
{% endhint %}

Lands are ERC-6551 tokens, or The Backpack NFTs, able to hold various Zeeverse NFTs - a new home for your Zees, a fitting display for your Genesis Mask, a storage unit for your equipment, and your entry to player-owned economy of Zeeverse. On Shaman's first visit, a Treasure Chest awaits on the Land, offering players great loot, after which these chests transform into storage units for inventory management.

Some of the biomes will feel familiar to Shamans due to Zees available in-game, however, Strange New World update will bring novel experiences to all and curiosity about what's to come. <figure><img src="/files/nAqqEzYz1yRry1nSTmg8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Resources

Spread across the biomes, there are **12 types of ores** and **13 types of gems**, with two unique types found exclusively in the Celestial and Corrupted biomes — each biome possessing its unique variety. **Mastery in Mining and Crafting enables Shamans to craft increasingly more powerful equipment**, and materials from Celestial and Corrupted biomes, respectively allow for the creation of the strongest armor, weapons, and accessories.

Additionally, **wielding such armor requires a high Taming level**, ensuring that game loops are respected and making progression through the game more meaningful. **Gems**, however, will be used to create accessories or further enhance equipment, bestowing additional effects and boosting existing ones. Executing these actions proficiently demands skill not only in Crafting but also in Shamanism.

Aside from ores and gems, throughout the Lands, Shamans will discover various **Fishing and Farming patches where they can gather ingredients for food and potions**. It is rumored that there is also a mystical Well on every Land, and it is up to the Shamans to discover its use and purpose.

<figure><img src="/files/NrKQvE6SgoIdkp02POVI" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Voxels

**Every Land will receive a biome-specific Voxel Mine, introducing 41 Voxel types** to the game. Voxels will be used to develop various structures, from aesthetic to functional, such as Bank Vaults, Totem Poles, and various skilling stations. **These different structures will require a variety of Voxels, encouraging players and Tribes to strategize and cooperate** to collaboratively progress through Zeeverse.

Mining in Voxel Mines involves extracting Voxels from Voxel Blocks, with **the capacity of the Mine depending on the Land Grade**.\* As Mining advances, the Voxel Mine’s level increases, which in turn makes Voxel extraction progressively more difficult.

**The extraction power of a Shaman will be directly linked to the power of their staked Zee**. In scenarios where multiple players have staked their Zees in a Mine, the extraction process employs a raffle system to allocate extracted Voxel Block to one player, with each player’s staked Zee power influencing their chances of winning. Block progress is updated every minute, and **Master Chiefs can put taxes on their Mines, earning a share of the Voxels mined from Blocks.**

Voxel Mining essentially converts players’ invested time in game into Voxels to be traded or used on blueprints. While Zees are working, they are not available in battle, meaning no Zee will never need to sit idle in an inventory. As Shamans will also be able to contribute their Zees to Voxel Mines from other Lands, a collaborative environment is fostered.

# Blessings

<figure><img src="/files/H6XCWCrrImryp8bldn0v" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The moment Genesis Mask is staked upon a Land’s Altar, Blessings are granted to it, which are **predetermined in-game benefits** that depend on the rarity tiers of the Genesis Mask traits. The rarer the traits (and their trait sets) of the Genesis Mask, the more exquisite and potent Blessings become — this is especially prominent if a mask shares multiple traits from the same set, as these **boosts are additive**.

<figure><img src="/files/E2XC0DiKFTr81gm3RCm5" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Master Chiefs and their tribe members can only receive Blessings from one Land at a time. In an event where a player holds multiple Lands and has staked multiple Genesis Masks, only one Land’s Blessing can be active. However, managing multiple Tribes is permitted.

**If a Master Chief decides to join another Tribe as a Member, Blessings of that Land will overwrite their own.**

# Tributes

**The effects of Blessings increase as Patrons purchase Tributes**, with each subsequent Tribute being more expensive and further enhancing the benefits of a Blessing. The price of Tributes grows in accordance with bonding curve mechanics.

<figure><img src="/files/ryZJzyEJ0apR6gvTGH2g" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

An exciting aspect of Blessings is that **Patrons can sell back their Tributes at the price of the latest bought Tribute** — this becomes an incredibly lucrative opportunity for those who recognize ambitious Tribes early and commit to their success — a mechanism reminiscent of the recently popular SocialFi experiments. Additionally, the **Master Chief receives a percentage of tax from each Tribute transaction**.

Patrons will be able to lock in their Tributes for a certain amount of time, rendering them unsellable, to show commitment to a Tribe, which in turn will strengthen the Blessings and earn more Tribe Points for upcoming Tribe Wars.

# Tribes

Tribes are player-built social structures, inhabiting a Land, aligned with one of the Three Nations. Tribes reside on a Master Chief’s Land and partake in various activities and resource gathering within.

Tribe size specifications:

* **Rare Lands** — up to 25 members
* **Epic Lands** — up to 75 members
* **Legendary Lands** — up to 250 members

# Master Chief

The Master Chief, as the landowner and the ultimate beneficiary of his Land, **collects a tax on all transactions made by his Tribe members**. They have the discretion to use these funds to build new structures, buy communal equipment, host tournaments, distribute among Tribe members, or keep for personal use. Additionally, **Master Chief can tax Resource Plots and Voxel Mines** found on the Land to their heart’s content.

# Patrons

Patrons play a role in strengthening the bond between a Land and the Gods by purchasing Tributes, which in turn enhances the Blessings bestowed upon the Land. Patrons are not required to be Tribe members to purchase a Tribute.

# Members

**Members are the lifeblood of a Tribe** and are the ones whose actions directly contribute to growth of a Tribe and accumulation of Tribe Points, later coming into play at Tribe Wars.

Members of the Tribe can use the Land’s resource plots to train their skills and % of their in-game $VEE transactions goes to their Master Chief’s holdings, which further can be used to develop the Land and grow the Tribe.

# Tribe Wars

At the end of every Seasonal Cycle, Tribes engage in a **multi-week competitive event known as Tribe Wars**, where their strength is assessed by Tribe Points. These points are accumulated through Patrons’ Tributes, active participation of Tribe Members, and crucially, the Master Chief’s leadership in nurturing the Tribe’s growth.

Tribe Wars epitomize the principle of reaping what you sow: the more active and effective a Tribe is, the higher its Tribe Points result. A high score enables the Tribe to deploy a stronger Legendary Beast, representing their Genesis Mask’s Nation, to challenge other Tribes.

Success in these confrontations elevates their position on the Tribe War leaderboard, offering a chance to claim a **substantial share of the Grand Prize Pool**.

# Grand Prize Pool

Grand Prize Pool consists of seasonally curated artifacts by the Zeeverse team and a massive amount of **$VEE collected from all in-game transactions** all throughout the Season. As the Tribe Wars conclude, the Grand Prize Pool is proportionally distributed among the championing and the runner-up Tribes based on their ranking.

# Mask Staking

**A Zeeverse Genesis Mask is required to start a Tribe on any Land**. The esteemed Shamans holding a Genesis Mask have the ability to visit their own Land’s Altar to stake their Mask upon it. This affiliates the Land with one of the Three Zeeverse Nations, deciding which side they will fight on during the Tribe War.

# Zeeverse Wallet

The Zeeverse Wallet is an in-game, permissionless smart wallet used to handle assets inside the Zeeverse ecosystem. It removes the need to confirm every interaction manually, while still giving players full ownership of their items. The only cost involved is network gas when moving assets on or off the chain or the initial creation.

### Why it Exists

The Zeeverse Wallet cuts out constant transaction approvals, making in-game actions run without interruption. It also acts as the link between assets you hold on-chain and the items that live inside your in-game inventory.

### Creating One

<figure><img src="/files/8sCkzoONvM3wbZSrRyhf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Creating a Zeeverse Wallet is straightforward. Log in with your email, enter the one time code, and the wallet is automatically generated. To complete the creation process, you’ll need a small amount of gas: ETH on Arbitrum or Ethereum, or RON on Ronin.

### On-chain and In-game Items

Zeeverse uses both on-chain and off-chain items in its gameplay. Items such as Zees and equipment can be used regardless of their chain state, however, consumable items (Fishing Bait, Energy Potions, Souls and other items that are used often and in large quantities) can only be used in their off-chain state to save on gas fees and to streamline the user experience.

If a consumable item is in your external wallet / Zeeverse wallet and not yet moved into the game, it appears greyed out. That simply means it must be **deposited** before it can be used.

### Depositing Items

Depositing moves an asset from your Zeeverse wallet to in-game. Consumables bought on marketplaces, for example, need to be deposited before use.

{% hint style="info" %}
Bought an in-game item on the Opensea? Just send it over to your Zeeverse Wallet to deposit it into the game!
{% endhint %}

### Withdrawing Items

Withdrawing moves an asset out of Zeeverse and back onto the chain. Withdrawals require gas on the relevant network.

# Game Exchange (GEX)

GEX - a fast and simple hub where players trade items and fuel the living economy of Zeeverse.

<div data-full-width="false"><figure><img src="/files/sG9664Bu5pGpswtRTLFM" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

GEX is Zeeverse’s in-game marketplace where players trade items and resources using $VEE. Prices are set by the community, and supply and demand shift naturally as players explore, craft, and battle.

{% hint style="success" %}
**$VEE and Item Movement**\
GEX runs on $VEE when you buy items or provide liquidity, so make sure you have some in your Zeeverse Wallet before trading. You can also mint your in-game items into the wallet and sell them on GEX for $VEE or deposit purchased items back into the game to use them again.
{% endhint %}

### How It Works

<figure><img src="/files/XdpsJDOF9qLVRfldCYfO" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The Market tab shows every item currently tradable on GEX. For each item, you can view:

* **Price** - the current cost in $VEE.
* **% Change** - movement over 1h, 24h, and 7d.
* **Volume (24h)** - how much of the item has been traded in the past day.
* **Liquidity** - how much of the item is available in the pool.

Tap any item to open its detailed view.

#### **Trade Tab**

Buy or sell the selected item directly from its liquidity pool.

* Enter the amount you want to buy or sell.
* The current price and a 5 percent trading fee are applied automatically.
* A simple price chart helps you see recent trends.

Your purchased items are delivered instantly to your inventory or energy balance, depending on the type.

<figure><img src="/files/WzKF5LAMWnjHnHW8cUWa" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Transactions Tab**

A live feed of recent trades made by all players.

* See time, trade type (buy or sell), price, quantity, and total value.
* Helpful for spotting market activity spikes or quieter periods.

<figure><img src="/files/zNwxthDYWfS8xrvJpJqf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Liquidity Tab**

Every item on GEX has a liquidity pool made up of the item itself and $VEE.

Players can contribute to these pools:

* Add two tokens in equal value to receive LP tokens.
* Remove liquidity at any time to reclaim your share of the pool.
* Liquidity improves trading stability and reduces price swings.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Staking & Impermanent Loss**\
When you add liquidity to GEX, you stake two assets of equal value. As prices shift, your share of each asset may rebalance, creating what’s known as impermanent loss. It’s a normal part of liquidity providing, but keep in mind that fast price movements can affect your final outcome when you withdraw.
{% endhint %}

# Relics

<figure><img src="/files/0ntYoMaU8FKmDbtcwjem" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Relics are valuables that exist purely as a store of wealth. They can be sold for Coins at fixed values and have no other function. Relics are off-chain, doesn't stack and appear both as quest rewards and as drops in dungeons.

# NFT Assets

# Overview

One of the goals for Zeeverse is to help innovate upon the concept of in-game asset ownership. We have observed many Web3 Game projects explore the topic, and have done our best to learn from their successes and shortcomings.

Our approach stems from the idea that Web3 has brought a new type of end-user to the game industry, and with that a new set of incentive challenges to be solved. To help solve these challenges, we have adopted a simple framework that guides us through every NFT asset integration in Zeeverse. A framework that's based on synergy between *Players* and *Collectors*.

## Players vs Collectors

Traditionally, games are developed with a single end-user in mind: *The Player*. All game mechanics and incentives are designed to make the game experience fun, addicting, and rewarding to them.

Web3 has introduced a new type of end-user: *The Collector*. This user is excited to help fuel the development of a game via NFT purchases but may not be as interested in playing the game itself. They certainly want to see the project succeed but will often prefer return-based and status incentives to in-game perks.

We love *Collectors* - without them Web3 games wouldn't be here. But issues emerge if a project fails to distinguish between both parties and designs their NFT utility in a "one size fits all" manner. Such issue can be observed on projects who sell playable NFT characters only to find their worlds deserted. Because if all such NFTs are owned by *Collectors,* there's rarely anyone left to play.

## Utility Spectrum

To address this challenge and ensure that all NFT assets in Zeeverse are balanced, we designate a spot for each asset on the Utility Spectrum. This spot will define the purpose and utility of the NFT.

Utility Spectrum recognizes the incentives of both *Players* and *Collectors*. And once an idea for an NFT is considered, we ask ourselves what incentives it must have to appeal to the intended audience. If the NFT is meant to attract high-net-worth collectors, we shouldn't assign it an XP boost. Likewise, an in-game pet (even though collectible) shouldn't have a utility of a mint-pass.

# Masks (ERC-721)

<div align="left" data-full-width="false"><figure><img src="/files/hOcQMPMbvEC5Y9YQtnJ8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/2Vd9FFMFXd6RUJ3bwcfe" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

While the three tribes are long gone, their Spiritual presence can still be felt throughout Zeeverse. These ancient and powerful Genesis Masks survived the echoes of time, and were distributed for free to the first Shamans who dared to venture into the Spirit Realm.

The long-term purpose of Masks is to allow their holders to help steer Zeeverse development in a direction that is beneficial to all involved, yet even now they already grant a wide range of in-game benefits to those who wield them.

## Current & Planned Mask Utility

* Priority mint access to **all** future collections
* Boosted Coin rewards for selling Relics to Hoarder
* Boosted XP in Dungeons
* Special tiered roles in Discord
* Unique in-game wearables
* Governance in Mask DAO&#x20;
* Fundamental role in the Land meta-game&#x20;

In the future, Mask utility may fluctuate based on the prevalent holder type of the collection *(*[*Collectors vs Players*](/economy/nft-assets#players-vs-collectors)*).*

To activate in-game Boosts, you must Stake your Genesis Masks. By staking you will also **generate your future** $FOREST **token allocation** which will be distributed during the token generation event.

Staking is done through a soft-staking mechanism, meaning you get to keep your NFT in your wallet and are free to transact and sell it. However, if you transfer your NFT before the end of the 90-day soft-lock period, **your $FOREST allocation will become void**.

Loot Pods were a core collectible in Zeeverse. Each Pod could contain Wearables, Zee, $VEE tokens, or seasonal collectibles, and could be earned through mints, partner quests, and live events like the Weekly Harvest. While they’re no longer distributed, Loot Pods remain available on the secondary market.

Loot Pods are part of the [Zeeverse: Items](https://opensea.io/collection/zeeverse-items) collection

# Soul Shards (ERC-721s)

<figure><img src="/files/XWWeVHbuVywF8gqzKgfh" alt="" width="375"><figcaption><p>Genesis Soul Shard</p></figcaption></figure>

**Soul Shards** were Soulbound NFTs that grant access to premium features in Zeeverse. Over time, their form has evolved, but their purpose has stayed the same.

* **Genesis Soul Shards (NFT)** – The original mint, distributed to early players and granting lifetime access.
* **Alpha Soul Shards (NFT)** – Paid, limited-term versions introduced after Genesis.
* **Red Soul Shards (Premium Pass)** – Launched with the Beta phase and now the active system, available in 1, 3, or 6 month durations with discounts for longer terms.

**Current benefits include:**

* Unlocking new PVP and PVE modes, such as **Heist** and **Stronghold of Umbra**
* Boosting auto-battle speed by up to **3x**

# Collection: Curve, The 4th Dimension

Curve: The 4th Dimension was the first collection in Zeeverse history to present the concept of Loot Pods and Items. It was launched on Ethereum, and came from a free, cinematic, story-driven event where all players were invited to participate in an in-game quest to earn Curve Loot Pods.

These Pods contained Rare, Epic & Legendary items, and a new type of Zee, the Curve Llama, which came in a standard or Legendary (funky) configuration. You can purchase Llamas or even some unopened Curve Loot Pods on [Opensea](https://opensea.io/collection/curve-4th-dimension).

To get your hands on Items from this collection, you may purchase a [Potato](https://opensea.io/collection/curve-4th-dimension?search\[collections]\[0]=curve-4th-dimension\&search\[stringTraits]\[0]\[name]=Name\&search\[stringTraits]\[0]\[values]\[0]=Curve%20Potato%20%5BRare%5D) (ETH) and convert in in-game, an un-opened [Curve Loot Pod](https://opensea.io/collection/curve-4th-dimension?search\[collections]\[0]=curve-4th-dimension\&search\[stringTraits]\[0]\[name]=Name\&search\[stringTraits]\[0]\[values]\[0]=Curve%20Loot%20Pod%20%5BRare%5D) (ETH), or the [Items](https://opensea.io/collection/zeeverse-items?search\[collections]\[0]=zeeverse-items\&search\[stringTraits]\[0]\[name]=Collection\&search\[stringTraits]\[0]\[values]\[0]=Curve%3A%20The%204th%20Dimension) themselves (ARB). Once the Loot Pod opens, you will receive your **guaranteed Llama Zee** on Ethereum chain, and your Items will be airdropped to you on Arbitrum One chain.

Here's the drop table for Curve Loot Pods:

# Utility Tokens

# Overview

**$TREE** and **$VEE** is a new model of a fixed-supply dual-token economy that offers scalability, sustainability, and eliminates one of the largest risks associated with uncapped token systems - hyperinflation.

Historically, systems with uncapped token supplies have often lead games to in-game economies that suffer from excess volatility. Unfortunately, such token volatility directly translates into unwanted oscillations within in-game reward and sink systems which harms user experience, breeds vulnerabilities, and inevitably leads to an inflationary death spiral.

To build a scalable and predictable in-game economy, the game needs to run its reward and sink systems on stable value constants that can absorb the impact of the token market volatility.

Zeeverse achieves this with a dual-token, virtually pegged system of [$VEE](/economy/utility-tokens/usdvee) and [$ZEEV](/economy/utility-tokens/usdzeev) tokens.

# $VEE

**Markets**: [Katana](https://app.roninchain.com/swap?outputCurrency=0x3536eD2548A5e2Fc66A8448cC62394ff6d60159E) (Ron), [Curve Swap](https://www.curve.finance/dex/ethereum/pools/factory-crypto-214/deposit/) (Ethereum), [Coinmarketcap](https://coinmarketcap.com/dexscan/ethereum/0x9a81f5a6ea7e60632f659f3f4e772ba977d80bd5-0x7616113782aadab041d7b10d474f8a0c04eff258-0xa0b86991c6218b36c1d19d4a2e9eb0ce3606eb48/)

$VEE is an ERC-20 utility token with total supply of 100,000,000,000.

As stated in the introduction, game economics have to be stable and immune to token market volatility. For the game economy to achieve this state, game reward and sink systems cannot directly use utility tokens to price their in-game systems.

As a solution to this problem, Zeeverse uses an off-chain currency called Coins. This means that the backbone of the game economy is structured using Coins (i.e. costs for level ups, trait upgrades, etc.), while the on-chain $VEE token is used directly in systems such as Zee evolutions and the GEX marketplace. Evolutions permanently consume $VEE, while the GEX operates as a player-driven marketplace where $VEE serves as the currency for item liquidity pools.

Coins can be configured to keep an artificial peg at a defined $VEE price for rewards and sinks individually. **It ensures the Zeeverse economy is stable during extreme $VEE market volatility and price levels**. When an artificial peg is used, **the rate applied to both rewards and upgrade costs can be adjusted together to target a desirable value.** This monetary mechanic is equivalent to interest rate policies and, in time, will be controlled via $ZEEV governance.

**When $VEE is spent, it is transferred to the Zeeverse treasury to be recycled back into rewards.**

The in-game incentive system is based on a principle by which players spend Coins on upgrades in order to progress through PvE. Higher levels require more expensive upgrades, gradually scaling the demand for value within the system. Gameplay rewards take the form of items and relics, which can be converted into Coins and, when supported by a player’s deposited balance, further exchanged for $VEE. This creates a self-reinforcing loop where progression drives spending, spending drives demand, and the difference between value distributed and value collected maintains reserves that stabilize the $VEE economy.

At higher Zee levels, players unlock more lucrative rewards, including equipment drops and rare relics. Over time, additional categories of resources and items will be introduced, shifting progression away from simple token farming and into broader reward paths. While $VEE continues to underpin the economy, advanced rewards diversify gameplay and reduce reliance on direct token returns.

We believe $VEE token design will help inch the space toward a more sustainable future where game economies have:

* No risk of hyperinflation
* Predictable and sustainable rewards
* Incentives to accumulate and rotate the in-game currency back into the game

### Utility

Currently $VEE utility token is used to:

* Evolve Zees
* Trade in the GEX marketplace
* Exchange for Coins

### Withdrawals

Since 28/08/2025, deposits and withdrawals of $VEE are instant. However, withdrawals are capped by the amount deposited on each chain after this date. For example, depositing 1,000,000 $VEE on Ronin allows a maximum withdrawal of 1,000,000 $VEE from Ronin. Each chain tracks limits separately.

# $ZEEV

{% hint style="info" %}
$ZEEV launch is planned for Q2 2025 - Q4 2025
{% endhint %}

$ZEEV is an ERC-20 utility token with a total supply of 1,000,000,000.

The purpose for the token is to offer incentives to Players via 3 main utilities:

* Governance
* Staking
* Premium transactions

## Governance

To ensure the longevity of the Zeeverse in-game economy, $ZEEV holders will have the right to vote on $VEE monetary policies. Since the health of $VEE economy directly aligns with the incentives of $ZEEV holders, the governance system will allow Zeeverse's economy to be adjusted via DAO. Along with monetary policies, $TREE holders will have the right to vote on decisions regarding project development and the DAO treasury.

## **Staking**

Staking is an essential element of Zeeverse's economy that will unlock impactful in-game boosts paired with $ZEEV rewards. Such a dual-utility staking system unlocks possibilities for scholar programs where holders can delegate their in-game staking perks to scholars while keeping a % of the rewards. And most importantly, it aligns incentives for both parties under one system.

Zeeverse economy is built so that the difference between $VEE Upgrade costs and Rewards increases with every ZEE level; therefore, an incentive to stake $ZEEV increases as players progress in the game. Ultimately, the goal of the Staking system is to increase the amount of $ZEEV holders to decentralize Governance, which is achieved by gradually introducing Staking as players naturally progress in the game.

## **Premium Transactions**

To ensure $ZEEV holders benefit from the growth of Zeeverse and its economy, these tokens must have justified in-game utility.

Currently, the token design predicts $VEE tokens to be used in most in-game transactions while reserving $ZEEV for certain high-value transactions. Such transactions can be interpreted as a tax - collected and transferred to the treasury to help support and grow the ecosystem.

Zeeverse Token ($ZEEV) will be used to:

* Evolve ZEE
* Hatch Eggs
* Open Lootpods
* Pay gas fees
* Craft Land assets
* Trade on the P2P marketplace

## Community Allocation

You can currently [Stake](https://zee-verse.com/mask-staking) your [Zeeverse Genesis Masks](https://opensea.io/collection/zeeverse-masks) to earn $TREE airdrop allocation.

**Each Mask you stake generates 1 allocation point per day**. By the end of the staking program, the full $ZEEV community allocation will be proportionally split among all stakers based on the total pool of the allocation points.

{% hint style="info" %}
